Community Action Collab was born out of the need to build resilience for India’s vulnerable communities, addressing both large-scale humanitarian crises like COVID-19 and everyday disruptions that threaten lives and livelihoods. At the onset of the pandemic in India the Catalyst leveraged its deep sectoral connections and knowledge resources garnered independently over three decades of experience in the social sector to mount a pan-India response.
By July 2022, we transitioned into Community Action Collab, expanding our mission to tackle long-term systemic challenges through coordinated, cross-sector actions.
